# Profile

> Update your account name, email address, and password from the Profile settings page.

Manage your personal details and credentials from **Settings → Profile**.

## Update your name or email

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Profile settings">
    Navigate to **Settings → Profile**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Edit your details">
    Update your **Name** or **Email** in the Profile section.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save changes">
    Click **Save** to apply your changes.
  </Step>

<Note>
  If you change your email address, a verification email is sent to the new address. You must verify it before the change takes effect and before you can access protected features again.
</Note>

## Change your password

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Password section">
    Scroll to the **Password** section on the same Profile settings page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your current password">
    Type your existing password in the **Current Password** field.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set a new password">
    Enter and confirm your new password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save changes">
    Click **Save** to update your password.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  You must provide your current password to set a new one. If you've forgotten it, log out and use **Forgot Password** on the sign-in page to reset it via email.
