Warmup period
After DNS verification passes, your domain moves topending_warmup status. The warmup period lasts 72 hours by default. Once the warmup window expires, the domain automatically transitions to active.
During warmup you can still send email — at a reduced daily limit.
Send limits by status
| Domain status | Daily send limit |
|---|---|
pending_dns | Cannot send |
pending_warmup | 10 emails / day |
active | 50 emails / day |
suspended | Cannot send |
Daily send counters reset automatically at midnight. The system tracks the date of the last send; when the date changes, the counter resets to zero before the next message goes out.
Bounce rate tracking
AgentPost tracks delivery and bounce events for each domain in real time. These counters are visible on the domain detail page in Settings:- Deliveries — successful email deliveries in the current tracking period
- Bounces — messages that bounced in the current tracking period
- Bounce rate — percentage of bounced messages out of all delivery attempts
Auto-suspension threshold
Your domain is automatically suspended when both conditions are met:- Bounce rate exceeds 10%
- At least 5 total events (bounces + deliveries) have occurred
If your domain is suspended
A suspended domain cannot send email. To investigate and recover:Check the suspension reason
Go to Settings → Domains and open the suspended domain. The domain detail page shows the
suspended_reason if one was recorded.Review your recipient list
A high bounce rate usually means you are sending to invalid or outdated addresses. Clean your list before attempting to resume.
